Frequently Asked Questions

Questions before you get started?

Who is The Balanced Child for?

The Balanced Child is for parents who want practical, personalized support around feeding their child. Families may be navigating picky eating, limited variety, stressful mealtimes, questions about nutrition, school lunches and snacks, or simply wanting more confidence in the everyday choices they make around food.

Does my child need to participate in the consultation?

No. The consultation is designed for parents, giving us space to talk openly about your concerns, routines, and what's happening around food without putting additional attention or pressure on your child.

What happens after I get started?

You'll complete a comprehensive intake before your consultation so I can learn more about your child. After we meet, I'll create your personalized plan and supporting resources. You'll then have time to put your recommendations into practice, with email support and a follow-up consultation included.

Can I book Shop With Me or Pantry Reset separately?

Yes. Hands-On Support may be available as an addition to The Balanced Child Approach or on its own. Reach out with what you're looking for, and we can determine the best fit for your family.

Do you work with families virtually or in person?

The Balanced Child Approach is available virtually. Shop With Me and Pantry Reset are in-person services available locally in the Sacramento area.
